Workshop Story

Bathwick Candleworks began as a small table near Walcot, where we learned to keep wicks centred, pours steady, and notes concise. We make unfussy candles for everyday use: clean-burning wax, quiet scent families, and jars that suit a kitchen shelf as easily as a desk corner.

Our batches change with available materials and season, so labels include pour dates and plain ingredients. Fragrance strength varies by room size and airflow; use these pages as straightforward guidance and test what feels right at home.

First Burn, Best Start

Let the top layer melt to the rim before you snuff it. This helps avoid tunnelling and keeps future burns even.

Trimming & Airflow

Keep the wick around 5 mm and watch for drafts; small changes can shift flame height and scent throw.
